一 教材分析
The emphasis of this period will be placed on the important neords, expressions in the part of Cultural corner . And get the students to find out the fastest train in the world ,the differences between it and the ordinary trains, and the advantages of the aglev. And develop the students’ writing ability.
二 教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1.知識目標(biāo)
Get the students to learn and grasp the following important useful neords and expressions in the part:
downtown, vacuum, rail, ceremony, track, souvenir ,at a speed of
2.能力目標(biāo)
1)Develop the students’ reading ability .
2)Enable students to know the fastest train in the world ,the differences between it and the ordinary trains, and the advantages of the aglev.
3)Develop the students’ writing ability.
3.情感目標(biāo):
1)Let students know the achievements that our country has made.
2) Develop students’ sense of cooperative learning.

四、學(xué)情分析
學(xué)生對磁懸浮列車不太熟悉。指導(dǎo)學(xué)生前查詢相關(guān)資料,充分利用工具書培養(yǎng)自學(xué)能力。但學(xué)生對于某一事應(yīng)該感興趣,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的記憶、整理和歸納等邏輯思維能力和寫作。

新授教學(xué)基本環(huán)節(jié):預(yù)習(xí)檢查 疑惑; 情景導(dǎo)入 展示目標(biāo);合作探究 精講點撥;反思 當(dāng)堂檢測;發(fā)導(dǎo)學(xué)案 布置預(yù)習(xí)。
六、前準(zhǔn)備
1. 學(xué)生的前準(zhǔn)備:預(yù)習(xí),初步理解,查閱資料,嘗試練習(xí)。
2. 教師的教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備:多媒體制作,前預(yù)習(xí)學(xué)案,后延伸拓展學(xué)案,分好小組。

八、教學(xué)過程
Step1 Check(預(yù)習(xí)檢查 總結(jié)疑惑)
檢查落實學(xué)生的預(yù)習(xí)情況并了解學(xué)生的疑惑,是教學(xué)有了針對性。
Step 2 Lead in
Have you ever caught the train ? Do you know the fastest train in the world ?
Where is it ? Trains have changed a lot since it was born. Let’s take look at it’s history.
Show the students the answers on the screen.
Step 3 Fast-Reading
Read the passage and answer the questions.
1. What are the main differences between a magnetically levitated train and an ordinary train?
2 .What are the advantages of travelling on a aglev train?
eys:
It is faster, less noisy and uses less energy.
You travel very quickly and quietly. The train uses less energy.
Step 4 Sum up what they know about the aglev train.
Language points:
1.Travelling at a speed of over 400 kilometers per hour, the train can complete the 30-kilometer journey in eight minutes.

Step5 Writing
1.Describe the first time they traveled a long distance
to your classmate.
Example: I first traveled a long distance by train when I was six years old. I went with my parents from Shanghai to Beijing.
Pay attention to:
Who , when, where, what, why& how
2.ake sentences with the above words .
3.ake a short composition with the sentences.
4.Check with their classmates.
5.correct the composition by themselves.
Step 6 Presentation.
Groupmembers share their works and each group chooses a representative to present their works before the class.

十、教學(xué)反思
本的設(shè)計采用了前下發(fā)導(dǎo)學(xué)案,學(xué)生預(yù)習(xí)本節(jié)內(nèi)容,找出自己迷惑的地方。堂上師生主要解決重難點,疑點,考點,易混點,最后進(jìn)行當(dāng)堂檢測,后進(jìn)行拓展延伸,以達(dá)到提高堂效率的目的。通過磁懸浮列車了解我國現(xiàn)代化建設(shè)的最新成就,培養(yǎng)愛國主義情感。利用照片、明信片、紀(jì)念品等向同伴介紹旅游情況,提高學(xué)生運用英語的能力?傊,教學(xué)案應(yīng)精心設(shè)計才能調(diào)動學(xué)生積極參與提高堂效率,加大堂容量。在今后學(xué)習(xí)中會繼續(xù)探究本節(jié),爭取更科學(xué)的設(shè)計,提高效率。
